its safe to say that without vito & druzzi, we wouldn’t be here today. indeed, along with the other members of the rapture (ever heard of them?) and james friedman, they founded throne of blood. our histories go hand in hand. after releasing classic albums on labels like sub pop, dfa, vertigo, and motown- and spending more than a decade touring the world with lcd soundystem, soulwax, the cure, interpol, and franz ferdinand to name a few- vito & druzzi have spent the last few years shifting their focus towards djing and production, building a studio in brooklyn and churning out the jams. its been a labor a love and were very happy to present you with the first fruits of their collaboration

the last few years has seen a series of well received releases from rhythmic theory, the anonymous techno producer lurking in the shadows of the bristol music scene. *endless forms* is their second release for idle hands and follows on from where the previous ep *legacy of the lost* left off. the title track delves deeper into the sonic realms of classic jungle and comes up for air sounding like dub techno. a weighty bass line propels things along, whilst a sci-fi voice intones the title. this one is a sound system rocker. *tales of dystopia* brings to mind early nineties uk techno with its haunting synths, swung beats and deadly bass line. rhythmic theory is killing it at the moment, expect more to come.

the radical self ovums 20th birthday celebrations continues with the debut of sebastian mullaert. over the last 17 years, sebastian mullaert has had a long and distinguished career as one half of hardware experimentalist duo minilogue, with releases on cocoon, wagon repair and crosstown rebels.

up next for aus is label head will saul. following his vocal heavy collaboration album as close for !k7 last year this 12? sees will venture back to the dance floor for some light relief. with anticipation for the release of his dj-kicks mix in june growing, he lets these two tracks loose to tide listeners over.
